Scholarships

Since 1931, the Elks National Foundation has helped students recognize their academic dreams.

Each year, more than $3 million in college scholarships are awarded to at least 850 outstanding, service-minded high school seniors.

Once you're an Elks scholar, you're family.

The Elks offer many scholarships at two levels.

At the national level there is the Most Valuable Student (MVS and Legacy).

At the Lodge Level, there are Elks scholarships, college scholarships and technical scholarships.

Below is a description of all the scholarships:

Most Valuable Student Scholarship has a deadline of Nov. 15 and the application can be found here: https://www.elks.org/scholars/scholarships/mvs.cfm. Only high school seniors are eligible. 500 scholarships ranging from $1000 to $50,000 are given out.
National Legacy Scholarships are available to high school seniors who are children or grandchildren of Elks. The filing deadline is February 5 and the application can be found here: https://www.elks.org/scholarweb/resources/legacyFAQ.cfm. Approximately 350 awards of $4000 will be granted.
Local Findlay Lodge #75 Scholarships The application for these three scholarships can be found below. The deadline is April 30.
1. Findlay Elks Scholarships are available to any child or grandchild of a Findlay Elk. The scholarships are available to High school seniors through College Juniors. The number and amount of scholarships vary according to how well the trust scholarships do.
2. Countrymen scholarships are available to High school seniors through college juniors. The number and amount of scholarships vary according to how well the trust scholarships do.
3. Doepker Leaver Scholarships are available to high school seniors who will be undergoing technical training after high school.
